Gracie Mansion Halloween

Mayor Bill de Blasio and First Lady Chirlane McCray are excited to invite you to Gracie Mansion Halloween! New York City families are invited to enjoy tricks and treats at Gracie Mansion. Guests will embark on a haunted house tour and will leave with many fun and spooky stories to share.

Tickets

Guests may reserve up to four (4) tickets by registering online or by calling 311. This event is open to New York City residents as determined by zip code. Ticket times will be based on time of entry and are available on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited. All guests must present a ticket (printed or on a mobile device) upon arrival. Tickets may not be sold, assigned or transferred.

Where & When

The Gracie Mansion Holiday Open House will take place on Wednesday, December 21 at Gracie Mansion, 88th Street and East End Avenue, New York, NY 10028. Tours will begin every 15 minutes, between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.


All guests must exit Gracie Mansion by 6:00 p.m.

Entrance to the Open House

Guests must enter through the 88th Street and East End Avenue entrance. A ticket and valid photo ID are required for entrance. All guests are encouraged to arrive early, 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tour start time, to allow ample time to pass through security. Please note that the waiting area will be outside. It is recommended that guests dress appropriately for the weather conditions that day.

 

Gracie Mansion Management reserves the right to deny access to guests without valid photo ID or tickets, and to guests who arrive more than 10 minutes late for their tour start time.

Who

Entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years old to claim tickets. Minors attending the event must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Each ticket claimant must bring at least one minor ticket holder. This event is suitable for children aged 6 - 10.


Photo ID

A valid photo ID for guests over 18 (e.g. driver’s license, passport, IDNYC) is required. Children (guests under 18) do not need ID.

Gracie Mansion is wheelchair accessible. Individuals with disabilities will be able to request accommodations.

Photography & Video Recording

Guests are not permitted to take photographs or film inside of Gracie Mansion.

Are tickets for sale?

No. Tickets are not for sale and there is no fee to register for tickets or attend. Tickets may not be sold, assigned or transferred.


Do children need tickets?

Yes. Each individual guest, including children, will require a ticket to attend this event.

Do I need to print my tickets?

No. Tickets may also be presented on a mobile device. All guests must present a ticket (printed or on a mobile device) upon arrival. All guests must print, sign and bring this consent form to the Gracie Mansion Halloween event.

Restroom facilities and water fountains will be available within the processional area.

Will food or beverages be available for sale?

No.

When can I enter?

Check-in will begin at 11am on Friday, September 25th and close at 3:30pm. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and allow ample time to pass through security.

Where do I enter Central Park?

Your ticket will state which entrance you must use and where to enter.

My family member has a ticket for a different entrance. Will I be able to join them once we go through check-in?

Your entry point will determine your zone along the processional route. Guests will be unable to move between zones.

What if the weather is bad?

The City of New York reserves the right to cancel the Processional in case of inclement weather. Participants will be notified by email and/or phone.

Someone in my party has a disability or needs an ADA entrance. What do I do?

When applying for tickets, please check the box indicating that you will require use of an ADA entrance. If you have additional concerns regarding accessibility, email PapalVisit2015@cityhall.nyc.gov.
